Cool. Reminds me of a technique from a few years ago. People were taking Polaroid pictures and while the emulsion was still soft, they'd take a burnisher and move the chemicals around. It created a surreal sort of painting-like look. There are digital tools (smudge or smear) that can create a similar look.
